A drone that has been created for the ocean

NOAA and Saildrone collaborated to create several uncrewed solar-powered vessels that collect data throughout the ocean. These drones provide NOAA data that can help forecast hurricanes, view sustainable fisheries management, detect oil spills, conserve threatened species and mapping the seafloor.
